My walks (map below) are aimed at those who are looking for a little more detail than is usually included in a walking tour and are largely based on my published blog posts and other personal research.
They are available as a PDF document and map which can be printed or read from a soft copy. You can also follow them using Wikiloc app which will allow you to follow the route, as well as read the same text as in the PDF and see more historic images on your journey through time.

1. Highgate Hill History Walk
This self -guided walk covers the area around Highgate Hill itself and looks at some of the people who have lived in the suburb and their homes.
2. South Brisbane and West End Riverside Walk
This walk follows the bank of the Brisbane River, from South Brisbane to the locality of Hill End, in the suburb of West End. Whilst there are some surviving heritage sites along the way, much will rely on the walker’s imagination.

3. South Brisbane and West End Walk
This walk starts and finishes at the corner of Vulture and Boundary Streets and passes 30 heritage listed locations. The walk traverses commercial, industrial and residential areas, giving glimpses into the past.
