I was researching my GGGrandfather (1828-1922) Joseph Baynes’ home called Riverview in Vulture St and your website came up. I have just found an old photo of the house presumably taken by my Grandfather, Mervyn Baynes. There is a Baynes St in Highgate Hill but I don’t know which Baynes brother it was named after? Do you have any information about the Baynes Family in the area?

This is very close to Baynes Street but I have read an old article that suggested the street was named after Joseph.
